Mahindra Centuro- The Chiseled Mileage Bike

Finally, one potentially stronger bike from Mahindra is here. They tried enough during the recent years to get one such product which would make the customers flock in to buy and with this Centuro, it seems they have struck a right chord here. The premium bike was recently launched and as per the official data which claims that they have got a order booking for 10,000 units just in three weeks post launch. The Mahindra Centuro price has been set at INR. 45807 to be precise. The whooping out of expectation booking volume may have brought a bright smile on the faces of everyone at the R&D cell.

Mahindra Centuro features a 110 cc engine, an economy class though, yet capable of clocking max power of 8.5 bhp at 7500 rpm through 8.5 nm of torque. Centuro has scored great on every front and this one is completely different from previously launched Mahindra bikes. It has got style coupled with power and they boast of it delivering a magnificent mileage of 85.4 km in a litre. This has been genuinely designed in the country and all the innovative features they have included has been self developed at the maker's manufacturing unit at Pune in India. The 4-speed gearbox is amply complemented by wet multi plate clutching mechanism designed to give a smooth transmission at will. The braking will rely on drums on either of wheels and the LED headlamp will add it more to safety on roads with clear visibility and efficient control. The styling has been the trademark feature of Centuro and a tough look is more apparent in Mahindra Centuro pictures. They have installed tubeless tyres with extra strong tubes to let this pass through the tough terrains without the risk of getting punctured. The digital speedometer is another stylish element to impress along with the multi spoked alloy wheels.

Overall, the verdict goes with Centuro here and clearly the company known better for their SUVs and now, somewhat for the sedans will now get a new identity, the bike maker and all the credit will go to this rookie. The post launch buzz around the bike has been getting louder and if the initial booking numbers have anything to do with the success of a product, then clearly, it is a huge success. One thing that is remarkably unique is the fact that despite being a mileage bike with entry level price tag, it has got the look of a chiselled muscular hunk and the power it commands complement this well. The bike is already launched in india and the review for this bike is really good and positive and its worth for the money.
