Hero Ignitor, A 125cc Bike From Hero Motocorp

Hero, after splitting up from a long time relationship with Honda Motorcycles previous year has re-branded itself to Hero MotoCorp. Since then, Hero Bikes have never looked back and certainly pioneer themselves to offer competitive bikes, which are able to compete against bikes from Bajaj and Yamaha in the Indian two-wheeler Market. Hero MotoCorp has come out with its latest offering i.e. Hero Ignitor to compete in the premium 125cc segment. Discussing about the engine specs of the Hero Ignitor, the bike comes with an air-cooled 124.7 cc engine displacement consisting of a 4 stroke single cylinder OHC with self start option.

This powerful is highly capable to churn out a maximum power of 11bhp at the rate of 8000rpm and a peak torque of 11Nm at the rate of 5000rpm. The engine is coupled by a 5 speed gearbox with multi-plate wet clutch. It has a Tubular Diamond type chassis. Hero Ignitor can touch from zero to 60 kmph speed in 7 seconds flat. The fuel-consumption in the city is up to 45 kmpl and on highways the Hero Ignitor can pull it up to 60kmpl, which is quite remarkable. Having a glimpse at the Hero Ignitor’s dimensions, it is 2010mmX710mmX1095mm in length, width and height and has an overall weight of 129 kgs.

Hero Ignitor comes with tubeless tyres making the ride hassle free. Discussing the active and passive safety features on the Hero bikes which have never disappointed its customers. The Hero Ignitor has front telescopic hydraulic shock absorber and in the rear it comes with swing arm with adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers. The bike is also equipped with the front disc brakes and the rear drum brakes. Considering the style features, the brand has always impressed the buyers especially the youth of the country whereas if we talk about the comfort and convenience features, Hero bikes have set up a benchmark in the industry. 
Hero Ignitor has a step up seat and passenger foot rest. The bike carries an analogue fuel gauge, tachometer and speedometer. To make the Hero Ignitor even trendier, Hero MotoCorp has offered stylish alloy wheels in the bike. The Hero Ignitor is available in 4 different shades which are Pearl White, Sports Red, Vibrant Blue and Panther Black Metallic. The Ignitor has been priced very competitively by Hero making the base variant available at INR. 55,900 (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi). At this price it is all worth because the Hero Ignitor not only has the modish features but is also fuel efficient, keeping in mind the Indian consumer's mindset.
