KTM 390 Duke Launch Still Awaited

KTM Motorcycles, an Austrian motorcycle manufacturing unit is known all over the world for its wonderful bikes. KTM bikes have been liked all over the world because of its unique styling and designing. KTM is all set to launch a new bike in India called as KTM Duke 390. KTM, earlier, launched a bike in India called as Duke 200 which did pretty well in the Indian market. With the success of its earlier bike, KTM now plans to launch another bike with much more expectations. The bike will be launched with the help of Indian automobile maker, Bajaj. Bajaj Automobiles will take the responsibility in launching this new bike in India. KTM Duke 390 price in India is INR 2.25 lacs.

KTM Duke 390 has recently undergone a test ride in its home country, Austria, and seemed to have good performance features along with the styling. It is a uniquely designed bike with some eye catchy graphics that we normally do not see on the Indian roads. The bike shares a lot of features with its Indian sibling, Duke 200. KTM Duke 390 pictures some of the graphical designs which are quite similar to Duke 200. The dominant orange color gives the bike the much needed class as well as the aggressive nature. The sporty looking bike does have exciting features that can make the rider to feel proud about it.

KTM Duke 390 features 4 stroke, single cylinder and fuel injected powerful engine that has a displacement of 375cc. There's a forged piston and Nikasil coated cylinder with dual overhead camshafts driving its four valves. The peak power output produced by the engine is 44 bhp at 9500 rpm. A maximum torque of 36.7 Nm at 7250 rpm. The 6 speed gearbox is nicely mated with the engine giving great speed to the bike. The bike goes very smoothly even at higher speeds. The maximum speed obtained on the bike is 162 Kmph. The bike has got a good heavy tank that can accommodate fuel capacity up to 11 liters.
The front suspension of the bike has the regular fat, 43 mm upside down forks. The rear suspension of the bike is handsome alluminium alloy swingarm and monoshock suspension. These give great cushion to the bike on difficult roads. The front and the rear disc brakes gives good hold on the bike while riding at high speed. The option 'on' and 'off' of the ABS technology is an additional feature with the button on console.
