Sony Mobiles, a world class mobiles manufacturing unit, launched a new flagship smartphone called Sony Xperia ZL earlier this year. And recently it is expected that Sony will release the flagship mobile into the market in the month of March 2013. This is termed as the high-end version of the Xperia series. Sony is looking to improve its market here in India after seeing a slump in its sales figures for 4 consecutive fiscal years. Though it came up with new stylish mobile phones, it did not receive much praise from the public. Hence, Sony is banking on this smartphone to turn things around.

Sony Xperia ZL features a fine display screen of 5 inches with TFT capacitive touchscreen producing 16M colors and a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at 441ppi pixel density. Sony Xperia ZL features a Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor along with a Qualcomm MDM9215M / APQ8064 chipset and Adreno 320 graphical unit. Sony Xperia ZL features a 13 mega pixel rear camera. The resolution of the camera is a whopping 4128 x 3096 pixels that give excellent picture quality. The camera is also supported by an LED flashlight. The other features of the rear camera are geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, image stabilization, HDR and sweep panorama.
Video recording is also possible with the camera with 1080 pixels at 30fps and having options like continuous autofocus, video light and video stabilizer.
