Nokia Lumia 720 and HTC 8S Competition Goes Neck and Neck

Nokia mobiles, world's leading mobile manufacturing unit comes up with yet another extra-ordinary smartphone, under the series of Nokia Lumia called Nokia Lumia 720. Nokia introduced its latest mobile in the Mobile World Congress meet. Nokia launched this mobile keeping in Indian market in mind and were looking for a mid-range mobile that could meet the desires of large number of people. Nokia Lumia 720 price is in the range of less than INR 20,000 and the price is not the sure shot answer to what the mobile actually looks like. It has got some wonderful features that can give stiff competition to any high-end smartphone. The mobile is expected to be launched very soon in the Indian market.

Besides Nokia, HTC mobiles another leading mobile manufacturing unit in the world launched a new smartphone called HTC 8S. HTC is looking to target the Indian market with high growth rate in its sales with the introduction of this smartphone. The mobile was launched in latter half of the year 2012 with good overall specifications and features. HTC 8S price is around INR 18,000. Nokia Lumia 720 has a display screen of 4.3 inches while HTC 8S consists of 4 inches display screen. Nokia Lumia 720 has a 6.7 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and LED flash. HTC 8S has a camera of 5 mega pixel which has autofocus and LED flash. Nokia Lumia 720 camera has a resolution of 2848 x 2144 pixels, and the HTC 8S has a pixel resolution of 2592х1944 pixels. We can find a secondary front facing camera of 1.3 mega pixel for video calling in Nokia Lumia 720 but HTC 8S does not have a secondary camera.
Nokia Lumia 720 as well as HTC 8S has Microsoft owned Windows 8 operating system. Both the smartphones possess 1GHz Dual-core processor along with the Adreno graphical unit. In terms of portability of the smartphones, Nokia Lumia 720 weighs 128 grams while HTC 8S weighs around 113 grams and seems easy to carry compared to the earlier. The battery capacity of the devices are also very close to call in terms of its durability. The Nokia Lumia 720 features a battery of 2000mAh capacity while HTC 8S is possessed with 1700mAh capacity. On the whole, we can say that both are on the same scale in its features and its performance. A slight upper hand could be with the Nokia because of its brand capability compared to HTC in Indian market.
