Another MPV is set to make its entry to the Indian markets sooner, probably after the introduction of fiscal budget 2013-2014. This time it will be from the General Motors that carries the name as Chevrolet Enjoy. This is the first ever MPV of Chevrolet cars in India and it will be competing with the likes of Nissan Evalia, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, and few others in the markets. The company sources has said that the Enjoy MPV will be available for sale in the markets from March or by the end of April 2013. They also said that the the Chevrolet Enjoy price will be very competitive, which is a great news for the car lovers.
This vehicle will be targeted towards big Indian families and businesses for multi purpose travelling. This vehicle comes with large inner space that is enough to offer comfortable seating for about 7 to 8 people. Chevrolet Enjoy MPV is a perfect alternative for the Nissan Evalia and Toyota Innova in the MPV segment. Now all eyes are on the fiscal budget that could provide a relief to the automobile sector by bring down the interest rates, which will automatically help the companies to bring down prices.
The General Motors India is currently planning to sell over 48,000 units of cars per annum in India that also include Chevrolet Sail U-VA hatchback and Chevrolet Enjoy. When it comes to the Chevrolet Enjoy features, nothing has been disclosed as yet but soon we could expect to get all those details soon. On the other hand, many of the market sources believe that the new Chevrolet Enjoy price will start from Rs. 7.5 lakh, which is very reasonable and competitive. The appearance of the car seems to be pretty decent with brand new style. The front fascia is very simple but has the premium touch as there is a lot of chrome used.
The grille of the car comes with chrome bars and the air dam has got the chrome finishing that gives a premium touch to the car. The rear view of the car is also decent better than Nissan Evalia as you can see in the Chevrolet Enjoy pictures. This MPV is expected to boost the sales of Chevrolet cars in the coming season as the demand for MPVs is still soaring in the country. This car will arrive with two engine options such as 1.3 liter petrol and 1.4 liter diesel and both are expected with 5 speed manual transmission gearbox. Both the cars are expected to be most featured and fuel efficient as well. The wait is just about few more weeks from now as the MPV is set to arrive in April 2013.
