Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus Will Come with Android OS

Now there is some great news for all the people out there who are looking for some affordable yet feature packed smart phones. Korean mobile and electronic brand Samsung has come up with a new budget friendly smartphone. To add to the brigade of Samsung mobiles here comes the all new Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus, the successor of Samsung Galaxy Pocket which was announced last year to cater the needs of people who don't have much money to spend but want to experience an Android smartphone. But this time the device has got to be better and more powerful.

As its name suggests, it not only comes in a pocket friendly price but also a pocket friendly size. According to some Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus Pictures which rolled out on the internet a few days ago, it seems to carry a small screen size that is very easy on pocket. It is expected to sport a 2.8 inch QVGA touch panel which would come with a resolution of 230 x 320 pixels. Though the phone shares pretty same specifications with its predecessor the major update is with the Operating System. This smartphone will run on Google Android Operating System version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. And other difference is with its processor, it will be powered by 850 MHz processor which ensures swift multi tasking while the Samsung Galaxy Pocket had a 832 MHz processor and it will also be powered by 512 MB RAM to give you some decent performance. The Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus other features include the basic version of Samsung's patented TouchWiz technology, 4 GB of on board memory which will be expandable upto 32 GB using micro SD memory storage cards.

To ensure a good connectivity it will also support high speed Wi-Fi and HSDPA 3.6 features for a faster content download. According to the leaked specs it also has an in built FM radio to give you a jolly time too. Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus price will for sure not be higher, it being a budget handset. It is expected to be priced similar to the price of Galaxy Pocket which is presently Rs. 6,000 in the retail market. It is expected to make official appearance in the later half of this year only. So, for now we have a few months ahead of us to see a device by the big brand for the small pockets.
