Nokia Lumia 920 Launched with good features

The former cellular king, Nokia is again making news with the launch of its much awaited smartphone the Nokia Lumia 920 on Thursday, January 10th. The device has been a center of attraction since its announcement back in September last year but was officially launched on January 10 in a simultaneous press conference in Delhi and Mumbai. It sports a commendable 4.5-inch Pure Motion HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 1280 × 768 pixels and a density of 332 Pixel Per Inch and covered by the Gorilla Glass. The screen has some amazing touch sensitivity and is bright enough in even direct sunlight allowing you to use the phone very normally even in the outdoors just like you to do it indoors.

The design is very much similar to that of Lumia 800 with some enhancements. Made out of a uni-colored polycarbonate block it stands out of the other smartphones available in the market. But while picking up your color don't forget to check out that models with black, grey and cyan color comes with a matte finish whereas red, yellow and white comes with a glossy finish which one can even infer from the Nokia Lumia 920 pictures which are circulating on the internet from a long time. Nokia Lumia 920 features an 8.7 megapixel primary rear camera that comes with Optical Image Stabilization allowing you to shoot good quality full HD videos and with low- light photography you can shoot in complete darkness and still get some images. But the only flaw with its camera is that it uses slow shutter speed.

The device runs on a dual-core Qualcomm Krait processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, and a Qualcomm Adreno 225 GPU. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage capacity without any option of expansion through Micro SD cards and is powered by a 2000 mAh Lithium polymer battery with a standby time of upto 400 hrs and talk time of upto 17 hrs on 2G network. And as everyone knows it is the Nokia's future bet with Windows Phone 8 against the other OS in the market along with Samsung, HTC and Apple. Nokia Lumia 920 price is announced to be Rs. 38,199 but it is available on some e-commerce portals at a price of Rs. 36,499. Just a few more months and we will see if the phone is counted amongst some of the most popular Nokia mobiles and is able to compete with some of the already established high-end smartphones.
