HTC Butterfly coming soon to India

India has got one of the most rapidly growing smartphone markets and to amaze us with some spectacular features on board, the Taiwanese smartphone company HTC is all set to bring down to India the HTC Butterfly, successor of its current flagship device the HTC One X. The newbie was recently unveiled at an event in Taipei. Like all other HTC mobiles it also comes with Beats Audio sound enhancement but thats a very small feature to talk about, lets get into the big details. HTC Butterfly packs an amazing 5 inch full HD LCD display with a greater resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels resulting in a pixel density of 441 ppi combined with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 to keep the screen scratch free which leaves behind Apple iPhone 5's much hyped 326ppi display and to add on to that it all comes in a 143 x 71 x 9.1 mm bar form body that weighs only 140 grams.

It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Quad core Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Pro processor along with an Adreno 320 graphics chip. On the storage front it packs in 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory and now to cure everyone's curiosity, yes it does support a micro SD card upto 32 GB. HTC Butterfly features an 8 megapixel primary auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a backside illuminated sensor for better low light performance and even allowing you to record full HD 1080p videos and you can simultaneously click 6 megapixel pictures also. It also has a 2.1 megapixel front facing camera entertaining functions like video calling, self portrait etc. And to keep the fun going on it comes with a 2020 mAh Li-po battery which is expected to provide a full day backup on a single charge. It also comes with 4G and Near Field Communication connectivity.

HTC Butterfly price in India is expected to be around Rs. 40,000 which makes it pretty expensive for many or we should say the most expensive smartphone in the country but the company might not be worried as gadget enthusiasts would surely be ready to spend an amount like that for such a feature packed phone. HTC Butterfly pictures have been circulating on various websites from quite a while now and are viewed by many users everyday but now the wait is only for the device to hit the shelves.
