Renault Scala launches on 7th Sept at Rs. 5.93 Lakh

French vehicle manufacturer Renault cars has affixed the launch date of Renault Scala to 7th September in India. This will be the final fifth offering as it was committed by Renault earlier. Renault Group designs, develops, manufactures & sells environmental-friendly vehicles in three brands. This car will be launched in both petrol and diesel variant with 1.5L petrol and diesel engines. The sedan that is built on Nissan Sunny platform will churn out 84.8bhp of maximum power with the usual 1.5-litre power train. The Renault Scala will be premium in all aspects but with lesser price tag than that of Nissan Sunny i.e. Rs 5.93-8 Lakh.  This sedan is a re-skinned version of Nissan Sunny and will hit the Indian car market on 7th September.

Now come to the Renault Scala features, this sedan is equipped with 1.5-litre of diesel engine, which could produce 84.8 BHP of maximum power along with 200 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the petrol version is powered with 1.5-litre of petrol engine could generate 97.7bhp of power accompanied with 134Nm of torque. Renault Scala mileage is in between 15-21 kmpl and varies for both petrol and diesel variants. Its light body makes the car light in weight and agile on the road and therefore the car is very fuel efficient. Renault Scala exteriors are lot more appealing than the Nissan Sunny thanks to the large, aggressive grille, stylish headlights and new alloy wheels. The rear bumper features a blacked-out section that mimics a diffuser, which reduce the car's visual bulk. When viewed in profile, the Scala is exactly the same as the Sunny, except for the attractive new alloys and bulged out front facia. Renault to launch Scala Sedan in indian market.

Overall though, the Scala looks much more balanced and proportioned than Nissan. And the other hand, several Renault Scala pictures suggest the interior space has loads of thigh space on the rear seat. This might be because Renault has raised the rear bench. Spacious and practical interiors just heighten the overall package of the car which includes features like keyless entry, push start button, climate control and electric folding mirrors. The one impressive thing about Scala is its ride quality, which competently absorbs rough sections and bad roads, thanks to its pliant suspension and tires.Renault Scala price range will start from Rs. 5.93 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).  The price range is expected to be same except for the top end variant which is going to cost you more by Rs.50-80k than the Nissan sunny. Hero Maestro a next generation scooter.
