LG Optimus L5 A Stylish Phone with Reasonable Price

When team LG mobiles announced its new handset LG Optimus L5, there were quite a lot of expectations about the handset, which the company has tried their best to keep up. The device has a very high-quality design and enhanced software applications. The battery life is also pretty much reliable. This is an affordable midrange device with first class user interface. The new design includes modern square style grip, floating mass technology, seamless layout for better key arrangement, slim shape and harmonized design contrast using metallic accents along its design. LG Optimus is a 5 MP camera phone.

LG Optimus L5 is angular with dotted matte coating, and it is abstemious in its looks. Another point added to the advantages of LG Optimus L5 is its battery life. The device has the capability to run for 24 hours despite using extensive Wi-Fi and 3G usages. The 1540mAh battery pack is an end to work for 10 hours talk time in 3G mode. Additionally, the user will be able to gouge about 2 days with the average usage of phone. The LG Optimus L5 features in multimedia category are good enough for any ordinary user. The music player gives a normal performance as the speaker is neither too loud nor too deep sounding. The loudspeaker does not have much audible distortion. The camera is a 5MP shooter with LED flash light at the back, which takes images with usable quality and accurate white balance. The camera software is not much satisfactory as it takes a couple of seconds to focus and another couple of seconds to capture the light. It offers good resolution, which one can expect from a 5MP camera. But the video capturing is a negative aspect where the camera unit and the slow processor only capture hardly 30fps VGA video.

The software and apps presentable like any smart phone. It has the latest android versions in it which is the Android 4.0 Icecream Sandwich version. The notification tray is lucid along with the shortcuts of important settings on the top. The user interface of LG Optimus L5 has some ostentatious enhancements in the app drawer as the icons appearing in the settings app are too small to be effortlessly legible. LG Optimus L5 price is Rs. 13,000.

All these features mark it in a category of different style when compared to other similar products. But with a fairly slow single-core processor and a below average screen pixel density, it definitely won't appeal to a big crowd, but the design they are wrapped in makes it comfortable to hold and nice to look at.
