Hero Maestro, The Popular Scooter, to be Phased Out

Hero MotoCorp is undoubtedly a top contender in the present times among the other two wheeler manufacturers. This manufacturer in coordination with Honda technology, has launched many bikes in the nation and among them is the Hero Maestro. Maestro was included in the list of much awaited two wheelers and it was firstly brought to light during the Auto Expo 2012, an even held in New Delhi. But now, it is unfortunate to know that Hero Bikes is planning to phase out this scooter in a short time but the dates are not yet confirmed. Along with Maestro, Impulse and Ignitor are the other two bikes on the list which will be phased out.

Pawan Munjal, MD of Hero MotoCorp has given an announcement that its currently keeping focus on plans to begin an R & D independent set-up, in a location close to Jaipur. Honda's technology asistance has enabled the company to launch many vehicles including Hero Maestro. But after its split up, Hero has come to an agreement with another European design and technology firm and planning to replace the vehicles that were launched during its partnership with Honda. For its next venture, that is for its R & D set-up, the company is reported to invest a sum of approximtely Rs. 400 crore and improving its alliances for better technology flow.
Hero Maestro is a next generation scooter. Hero Maestro has achieved much popularity in just a short time mainly among women, as this scooter is designed by keeping women in mind. Hero Maestro Price is estimated to be close to Rs. 40,000, according to the ex-showroom price, Delhi. The price is satisfatory and its design and engineering work is simple yet great. It is installed with a 4 stroke single cylinder 109cc engine. This is the same engine used even in vehicles like Aviator, Dio and Activa. There is an air cooloing system and it comes in different colors like black, silver, blue, green, white and red. The highest power released is 8.04bhp at 7500Rpm and maximum torque reaches to 0.92kgm at 5500Rpm. Hero Maestro Features the CDI Ignition system and consists of both front and rear suspension systems with spring loaded hydraulic dampers. The total power released by Maestro can reach to 60kph in merely 10.51 seconds and 87kph is the top most speed recorded for this scooter. Hence, with 130mm rear and front drum brakes and 5.3 litre fuel tank capacity, this scooter has surely managed to become a rider's favorite choice. Hero Maestro launched in india.
