Volkswagen Vento left hand drive version to be exported to other countries from India

Volkswagen India was established in the country in year, 2007 and they have a marvelous fleet of vehicles in their stable. This company is a fully owned auxiliary of the German automobile giant, Volkswagen Group and they manufacture, assemble as well as distribute Volkswagen Cars in the country. Volkswagen India has a manufacturing facility which is based close to the town of Chakan that is located in the state of Maharashtra. These left hand driver versions are expected to be exported to the Middle Eastern as well as the African countries to be sold in their car markets. The exporting of these sedans is expected to be commenced from the later part of this year, while the first such left hand drive Volkswagen Vento has been manufactured at their manufacturing facility. This left hand drive Volkswagen Vento is the company’s 2,00,000th car and was rolled out in the presence of Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg and Dr. John Chacko. This premium sedan is one of the most Popular Volkswagen Cars in the Indian car market and has been doing well since the time it was launched in year, 2010. This sedan is being offered with both petrol and diesel engine options, which are powerful and fuel efficient.


The starting Volkswagen Vento Price for the petrol version in the Indian market is starting at Rs. 7.45 lakh; while the base model in the diesel version comes with a starting price tag of Rs. 8.73 lakh (both figures mentioned are of ex-showroom New Delhi).
