Suzuki India had launched Suzuki Hayate in the Indian Auto Expo, which was organized in the first quarter of the present year. This 122.8cc bike is available in two variants i.e. kick start and electric start version. Suzuki Hayate comes with an affordable price and it is one of the best bikes in terms of comfort level. According to one of the reviews on Suzuki bikes, Suzuki Hayate gives a tough competition to Hero and Honda bikes. Suzuki Hayate pictures reveal that the bike looks quite similar to Suzuki Slingshot and Honda Twister in terms of body design and looks. Suzuki Hayate price for kick start version has been tagged at Rs. 40,162 whereas the price for electric start version is market 2k higher than the kick start version.





The engine of Suzuki Hayate is smartly designed. The 112.8cc 4-stroke engine of Suzuki Hayate churns out apex power of 8.8 PS and a peak torque of 8.4 Nm. Suzuki Hayate promises to deliver a mileage of 60 km per litre, which is quite outstanding. Suzuki Hayate’s acceleration and pickup is superior as compared to other bikes in the same line up. This stylish bike can touch a top speed of 60 km per hour in just 8 seconds. Suzuki Hayate holds an 8 litre fuel tank in which 2 litre has been kept for reserve. The company has offered Suzuki Hayate in five different colors i.e. pearl mirage white, metallic lush green, pearl mica red, GL Sparkle black and metallic flint grey. Suzuki Hayate features elegant rear lights, round head lamp along with sport indicator, which gives an extraordinary look to the bike. It also carries a low fuel indicator together with pass light. Suzuki Hayate is outfitted with 17 inch alloy wheels, which ensures that the rider gets an amazing riding experience. Suzuki Hayate is blessed with mechanical and leading trailing drum brakes together with an analog fuel gauge and speedometer. Suzuki is planning to roll out one more variant of Suzuki Hayate with disc brakes option in near future. By looking at the features, price and specifications of Suzuki Hayate, it can be stated that this commuter bike surely competes against Yamaha Crux, Hero Splendor, Bajaj Discover and newly launched Honda Dream Yuga.
