Hero MotoCorp is India top two wheeler manufacturing company, and at present this two wheeler giant is sitting on top position followed by Honda and on third position is Bajaj auto. Hero MotoCorp has said it officially that their bikes will not be sporting Honda in their name badge. Honda name will no longer be seen on Hero bikes. This decision will be implemented from 2nd quarter of 2012 fiscal year. Hero and Honda dissolved their partnership earlier this year, this partnership lasted for twenty six years. Though these two companies have parted, they still have some mutual understanding that Honda will be offering technical support to Hero Moto Corp upto 2014 June. Hero Moto Corp has already found a partner who will be offering their technical support to this two wheeler giant.
This was revealed to the media by a top Hero MotoCorp official, the official also added that all their future variants will be coming will be coming with Hero name badge. Hero MotoCorp is planning to spread its presence in international market, this veteran two wheeler company has already marked some target markets across the globe, and will be focusing on launching Hero bikes in this market. This veteran company has recently launched a new vehicle Hero Ignitor in Indian market. Hero Ignitor is a 125 cc entry level motorcycle and Hero Ignitor features, this variant was first displayed at Auto Expo India which held earlier this year in January at New Delhi. On the other hand Honda too launched their entry level commuter vehicle Honda Dream Yuga, which is said to be very fuel efficient bike and is very much in lines with Hero Ignitor. The Japanese two wheeler manufacturer is also trying to cement its place in Indian two wheeler market by launching efficient Honda Bikes.
