Renault Pulse Petrol Version Drives In India at Rs 4.25 Lakhs

The French Automaker Renault launched diesel variants of Renault Pulse in the Indian Automobile Industry in the start of this year. Now the company has come up with the Renault Pulse petrol variant. Renault Pulse petrol price starts at Rs 4.25 lakhs. The company has launched three petrol trims of Renault Pulse, namely Renault Pulse RXE, which is tagged at Rs.4.25 lakhs, Renault Pulse RXL, priced at Rs.4.99 lakhs and Renault Pulse RXZ priced at Rs 5.55 lakhs (all the prices are of ex showroom, New Delhi), whereas the Renault Pulse price for Diesel variants starts from Rs.6 lakhs. Renault Pulse Petrol is available in six vibrant colors and the top variant RXZ comes with two different options for interior shades. Renault Pulse pictures of petrol variant reveal that the company has not made any significant changes in the body and design of this hatchback car. According to a Renault Pulse Petrol review, it seems that there is no difference between the dimensions of Renault Pulse Diesel and Renault Pulse Petrol.

The petrol variant of Renault Pulse is powered by the same 3 pot in-line DOHC 1.2L petrol engine that comes with the Micra. The 1.2L engine comes with a 5 speed manual transmission engine along with electronic fuel injection control. Renault Pulse petrol variant is equipped with 1198cc engine which churns out the maximum power 56kw (76PS) at the rate of 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 104 Nm (10.6 kg-m) at a rate of 4000 rpm. The petrol variant of Renault Pulse has got a fuel tank capacity of 41L. Renault Pulse RXE features driver airbag, air conditioning and power steering, whereas the mid level Renault Pulse RXL comes with additional features like power windows and music system. The top variant of Renault RXZ is loaded with many amazing features like ABS, dual airbags, automatic climate control, push button start and automatically retracting electric wing mirrors.

When talking about the fuel efficiency of the newly launched car, all the three petrol trims of Renault Pulse render a mileage of around 14-18kmpl, whereas the diesel trims of Renault Pulse render a mileage of 19-24kmpl. Thus, it can be stated that the fuel efficiency of diesel trims is far better than the petrol trims of Renault Pulse. In the present scenario, people in India are shifting towards the diesel cars because these are more fuel efficient as compared to the petrol cars. Secondly, diesel has been priced very less in comparison with petrol. Without any doubt, Renault Pulse petrol variant would definitely give a tough fight to other petrol hatchback cars. A Renault Pulse review meant for diesel variants reveals that people have liked the diesel Renault Pulse. So it would be very interesting to see how Renault would set its position with its petrol variants.  Renault is coming with its compact SUV Renault Duster soon, which is expected to hit the Indian Showrooms in the month of October 2012.The price of Renault Duster is expected to go around Rs.9 lakhs. On the other hand, the company is also planning to launch Renault B58 and Renault Modus by the end of 2012.
