The Ever Growing Magic of Maruti Ritz

In a short span of 36 months, Maruti Suzuki India has sold 2 lakh units of Ritz and it has joined the list of Top sold out cars in India like Alto and Swift. Maruti Ritz has been designed after a careful study of the premium A2 segment and by looking at the needs of hatchback buyers. In the hatchback car segment, Maruti Ritz has become the most popular choice in the Indian Automobile Industry. Maruti Ritz is a combination of comfort, excellent engine performance and premium drivability. Maruti Ritz is a very agile and charismatic car which is available in both petrol and diesel car variants. The petrol version of Maruti Ritz is loaded with 1.2 L K-12 series petrol engine with a displacement of 1197cc engine along with 5 Speed Manual Transmission Gearbox. The petrol car version offers an eloquent mileage of 14.1kmpl in city and 19.1kmpl on the highways. On the other hand the diesel version of Maruti Ritz is loaded with 1.3 L DDIS engine with a displacement of 1248cc. This Diesel variant of Maruti Ritz is highly fuel efficient and renders a mileage of 17.8kmpl in the city and 21.2kmpl on highways. The suspension of Maruti Ritz is quite efficient which offers a great stability and comfort to the driver as well as to the passengers.

Maruti Ritz has the capacity to seat five passengers comfortably. The ground clearance of this hatchback is around 170 mm which is quite good. Maruti Ritz price is tagged between Rs 4.10 lakh to Rs 5.80 lakh depending upon its variants. If we talk about the safety features of Maruti Ritz then this car is equipped with anti-locking braking system along with Dual SRS Airbag. Some variants of Ritz are also packed with front and rear fog lamps. Maruti Ritz is also loaded with amazing Audio system which will make the journey pleasant and joyful, but this is also available in some variants only. By looking at the rising demand for Ritz, Maruti is all set to launch the facelift version of Maruti Ritz. The facelift version of Ritz would hit the Indian showrooms probably next month. This facelift version of Ritz will have upgraded exteriors of the car. Maruti Ritz pictures reveal that the hood, grille, bumpers, wheels and tail gate are slightly tuned further. This facelift version of Maruti Ritz would come with the only major change i.e. addition of VVT technology on the 1.2-litre K-series engine. The petrol version of Maruti Suzuki Ritz will produce a maximum power of 86 BHP at 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 114 Nm at 4500 rpm. For now these are just rumors which might turn out to be true or we might be in for something even better, but one thing is for sure, Maruti India is not going to leave any stone unturned to get its market back and reach a level where the number 2 lags far behind.
