2012 Audi A4 launched with amplified features at Rs. 27.33 lakh

The Mumbai Turf Club witnessed yet another legendary revelation today, this time it is the German luxury car maker, Audi who has stolen the limelight with the launch of its refreshed Audi A4 2012 sedan at a base price of Rs. 27.33 lakh (ex-showroom Maharashtra). The car has been launched in both petrol and diesel car variants. Audi India is also offering ‘New Audi Car Life’ an all-in-one package that includes the car finance, insurance service plans and extended warranty. Powering the diesel version is the 2.0-liter TDI engine that is capable of pumping out 105 KW of peak power at 4200 RPM and 320 Nm peak torque at 1750-2500 RPM. At the same time the 3.0 TDI engine will deliver 180 KW of peak power at 4000 – 4500 RPM and a peak torque of 500 Nm.

On the other hand, the petrol car version derives power from the 1.8-liter TFSI engine that generates a peak power of 125 and a peak torque of 320 Nm. The fuel efficiency of the petrol version has been improved by 25 percent with a mileage of 15.64kmpl. Talking about the exteriors, the front end of the new Audi A4 has received major changes; these changes are not visible to bare eye but still hold a lot of significance. A new shape has been rendered to the headlamps and the daytime-running LED lights; the headlamps are styled as projectors with Xenon lamps included in the top-end variants. The all new bumper and the grille make the jaw of the car look more streamlined; the fog lamps have become trapezoidal in shape. LED graphics lamp and freshened bumpers enhance the rear appeal of the car.

The interiors of this perfect illustration of luxury drive have been reinvigorated as well, the steering wheel is gratified with high-quality plastic, the dashboard gets more chic and the central console has been bestowed with more controls that match the trim level. Audi’s typical multimedia interface and the switchgear have also been rendered some minor tweaks. Audi India is already witnessing huge demand and significant rise in the sales and profits, this scenario is expected to be strengthened with the new Audi A4. The company is also planning on incrementing the dealer network to 25 from the current 18 by the end of 2012. The Audi A4 price of Rs. 27.33 lakh is around Rs. 60,000 less than the price of the closest rival BMW 3-series. Audi India believes that this car is sure to take on the likes of the BMW 3-series and Mercedes Benz C Class with its refurbished looks, enhanced features and competitive pricing.  I shared that Audi Set to Increase their Stunning Fleet with Audi Q3 and 2012 Audi A4 and Entry level Audi A4 comes with a facelift at Rs 27.33 lakh.
