Maruti Ertiga to spice up the Indian MPV market this April

India’s highly praised and reliable car maker Maruti India is geared up to launch their brand new Multi Purpose Vehicle Maruti Ertiga on the 12th of this month across the country. The market for such vehicles has not really taken off in the country but the company is quite confident that this MPV will change the complete outlook of the Indian customers. Maruti India is going to offer this MPV with petrol and diesel car models and an option of six variants for the customers to choose from. According to a Maruti Ertiga review, the petrol car version will be equipped with a K-series variable valve transmission, 1.4 liter engine with a capacity to displace 1373cc.

This engine has the capacity to whip out a maximum power of 95 Ps along with a torque of 130 Nm. The diesel motor will be a direct diesel injection system of 1.2 liter that will have the ability to produce a peak torque of 200 Nm and a power of 90 Ps, which is appropriate for the country’s road conditions. The Maruti Ertiga price is expected to be in the range of Rs. 7.00 to Rs. 9.00 lakh, while the final confirmed price will be declared soon.

The interiors of this Maruti's MPV have been loaded with advanced and user friendly features. The cabin space is spacious and it can seat seven passengers very comfortably in its three rows of seating arrangement. The front façade is straightforward and attractive with a big head lamp cluster. The radiator grille is neat and the company’s logo is fixed on it as can be seen in the Maruti Ertiga pictures. Overall, this MPV is definitely going to infuse a lot of energy in this segment and can also generate healthy sales for the company. There are a few other upcoming cars like the Chevrolet Captiva, Tata Safari Storme and the stunning sedan Volkswagen Jetta, slated to launch this month. I recently shared that Renault Fluence E4 D launching tomorrow and Mitsubishi Outlander covers lifted with a price tag of Rs.20.55 lakh.
