Honda Brio bookings recommence

Honda India, the leading car manufacturing company, has now started taking bookings for their compact hatchback car, Brio in Indian car bazaar. Car enthusiasts or buyers can book their Honda Brio across  Honda Dealership outlets in the nation. Earlier, company stopped Honda Brio bookings in India because of severe floods in Thailand which also destroyed its Manufacturing plant. This natural calamity affected the development of their premium hatch Honda Jazz and Honda Brio. In order to regain its lost market shares the Japanese auto major starts importing products from other markets such as Japan and China. This strategy helps company to gain required momentum in production of Honda Brio and Jazz.

The firm also resumed their development unit in Indian auto industry a week before. Now the Japanese auto maker is trying very hard to double its production to clear out all its backlogs, which were on hold for a long, long time. The Japanese auto biggie is aiming to clear all the backlogs and shorten down the waiting time for Honda Jazz and Honda Brio hatchbacks. Both Honda Brio and Jazz comes loaded with similar engine, but Jazz is a premium hatchback and Brio is the lowest priced Honda car in Indian auto market. Honda Brio is powered by a 1.2 L i-VTEC petrol power-train that develops 89 BHP of top power and 109 Nm of peak torque.

The engine of the hatchback is coupled with five-speed manual transmission gearbox. Honda Brio price in India is tagged at Rs. 3.95 lakh for base variant and goes up to Rs. 5.10 Lakh for high end variant. Honda Brio pictures provide a view of classy and sportier hatchback. The Japanese auto major is also planning to introduce its Honda Civic and CR-V diesel cars in india. So it will be a test for Japanese auto biggie to sell its Brio in petrol version despite of low sales of petrol cars in India.
