Tata unveils the Safari Storme SUV at Auto Expo 2012

It has been a remarkable day as each car manufacturer comes in with big announcements of their achievements at the 2012 Auto Expo and this time Tata India brings excitement among car enthusiasts. Country's leading auto maker, Tata India, has unveiled its all new sports utility vehicle, Tata Safari Storme at the auto event. Company bring Tata Storme to cajole the spectators with the new design concept and it is huge deviation from Tata Safari on which it is based on. Meanwhile company rules out all the rumors of dropping the Safari name as the new SUV holds the bold Safari tag which is quite extrusive featuring on its ancestor.

The uniquely installed grille and a equivalent air-duct with the in-latest wrap around headlamps further enhances the beauty and charm to the macho-looking SUV. The rear end of the car comes with a twin exhausts which is an another interesting ingredient with the chrome outline. The cripple pipes not demolish the overall look and the same thing is also applied for the Stepney as well, where company added the extra tyre unlike the rugged SUVs we see of late. The interior of the sporty SUV matches up to the rest with the all leather taupe colored cushions and matching accessories to go with it. Steering of the car also covered by the leather cover.

This SUV comes loaded with a 2.2 L DiCor engine which also duties in out-going Safari churning out 140 BHP of maximum power and 320 Nm of peak torque. Tata claims that Safari Storme SUV is one to offer the best turning radius among the SUV which comes loaded with features and comes with the Easy Shift on Fly, which allows user to toggle between the 4x2 and 4x4 variants of the car.
