Hyundai Sonata and Hexa Space MPV concept revealed

Hyundai India opens the second day of Auto Show with its two classy unveiling Sonata sedan and a concept car Hyundai Hexa Space MPV. The newly formulated Hyundai Sonata saloon has broken all hurdles and is out in open. Both the disclosed cars are upright luxury to look at, although Hexa Space MUV is just a concept and need to be refined in a production version. The Pragati Maidan is witnessing a slew of introductions, unveiling and bomb-shell passenger vehicles are dropping with no time.

The entire speculations about Hyundai Sonata that it will adorn a diesel power-plant has been shut down by the Korean auto giant. This classy sedan comes loaded with a 2.4 L petrol GDI engine which is capable of generating a top power of 198 Bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. The car is not officially launched and so the further details about the car is yet to be known. Hyundai Sonata price in India is yet to be announced but it is likely to be priced at 18 lakh. This new Sonata sedan will compete against the likes of upcoming 2012 Toyota Camry and already established Skoda Superb and Honda Accord. Company added Fluidic design with the new Sonata which we already see on popular Verna, i20 hatchback and EON hatch.

Hyundai Hexa Space MPV was earlier known with a distinct code name HND-7 and looks a beauty to watch at. Car comes with curves and flowing lines all over body which provides a stunning and amazing look. It will be interesting to see what Hyundai turns this amazing concept and when it finally brings it down to production. Concept model of Hyundai Hexa Space MPV will be a 8 seater and it could rival against Ertiga if it makes it to production.
