Chevrolet unveils Sail hatch, sedan and CN 100 MPV at Auto Expo 2012

Chevrolet begins the second day of 212 Auto Expo with a stunning unveiling of three new cars. Chevrolet has unveiled its much awaited MPV Chevrolet CN 100, Chevrolet Sail hatch and the sedan namely Chevrolet Sail at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi. Chevrolet brings CN 100 multi purpose vehicle directly from GM's Chinese partner Wuling. So it will be quite interesting to see another elegant car with Chevrolet groundwork with a decent price tag of around Rs. 5 lakh as more of a value presentation from General Motors. CN 100 will hit Indian roads within 3 months along with Chevrolet Sail hatchback, however the sedan variant of Sail will be launched by the end of year 2012. According to company officials, the production of all three classy offerings unveiled today has been started.
CN 100 features more or less not too bad exteriors as speculated earlier but the same time its looks is not quite upmarket as well. The most noticeable thing in the car will be the diesel engine powering the car of 1.3 L multijet Fiat's engine which will be sufficient to meet the current Indian car needs. The compact MPV is not bestowed with a flurry boot as such which can be contract out when needed folding the rear seats to increase the cargo space.
Chevrolet India has unveiled its most stunning and yet another compact hatchback that is Chevrolet Sail. This car will be powered by the Beat's 1.2 L petrol engine in the petrol variant of the car but it would be interesting to see whether company adds diesel motor in the newly launched car. It is also speculated that Sail sedan will also bestow diesel as well as petrol motor. The Sail hatchback will surely offer a tough competition to already established new Maruti Swift and Toyota Etios Liva. Besides all these three cars, GM also going to showcase its new Chevrolet Captiva, 2012 Chevrolet Tavera and Chevrolet Cruze sports car at the Auto Expo 2012.
