Chevrolet unveils CN 100 MPV at Auto Expo 2012

Chevrolet India, a fully owned General Motors subsidiary, has just unveiled its all new multi purpose vehicle from its Chinese partner Wuling, the Chevrolet CN-100 as known in China at 2012 Auto Expo. The unveiled version of the sporty MPV clearly indicates the images of adventurous looking MPV with newly designed exteriors and not quite decayed as act like before. This Multi purpose vehicle is a seven seater which might be the biggest competitor to rival the upcoming player from Maruti Suzuki India, the Maruti Ertiga MPV. Meanwhile, the American auto giant will have to put its price competitive to create some competition as expected.

The newly formulated grille on the front fascia of CN-100 adorns a Chevrolet signature which clearly shows the intentions of GM India that the Chinese MPV will bestow the Chevrolet groundwork as assumed. The images of the MPV indicates that the exteriors of the car are not that bad as it was supposed to be or portrayed by the experts. Additionally, it is expected that the Wuling Chevrolet CN-100 will be powered by a 1.3 L Fiat's sourced multi-jet diesel engine to drive the car while there is no news or rumors about the petrol motor in the car.

The exterior of the CN-100 is neatly designed and looking less extrovertish. It comes with a Chevy's chrome grille and curve-tie alloy perfectly installed with two elongated headlights. The seven seater MPV comes with an option of folding third row seats which further enhances the Cargo space of the car. If company manages to keep its price low than this could be the success platform for the American auto giant in India.
