Nissan Sunny diesel bookings open now

The country’s leading car manufacturer Nissan Motor India Private Ltd has announced the booking for the new diesel version of the popular mid-sized sedan car Nissan Sunny in India. The Indian customers can book the new car at the 47 dealerships available across India. The new diesel variant will be available in two variants, The Sunny XL and the Sunny XV which is capable to produce best fuel efficiency and grab the attention of the Indian market. The Nissan Sunny diesel price of the XL variant is to be Rs 7,98,000 and XV variant price is at Rs 8,78,000.

The new Nissan Sunny diesel variant will be developed by the Nissan Plant in Chennai and it comes on the global V platform. The car is powered by a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder K9K engine which produce a torque of 86 PS of peak power at 3750 rpm and a maximum torque of 200 Nm at 2000 rpm. The five speed manual transmission K9K engine will delivers a best mileage of 21.64 kmpl. This is the first time Sunny is to carry the powerful K9K engine. The new diesel car will be available in exciting colors like bronze grey, blade silver, storm white, sapphire blue, onyx black and brick red. The sunny diesel will also loaded with advanced safety features include with an Anti-lock braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Engine Immobilizer and Airbags.

The new Nissan Sunny diesel comes sleek and stylish with 4425 mm long with a 2600 mm wheelbase. The new car looks aggressive with the smart grille with Nissan signature and also with jewel shaped headlights along with excellent chrome design. The diesel car is well designed with comfortable and roomy interiors. The Managing director and CEO of Nissan Motor India PVT Ltd, Mr. Kiminobu Tokuyama stated that the company was great to announce the new Nissan Sunny diesel car in the Indian market and he also added that the Nissan Sunny diesel with high performance and fuel efficiency will gear up the sales of the Nissan motors in the market.
