Honda Brio to break cover on September 27th

Honda India the subsidiary of Japanese car manufacturing company Honda has tightened its seat belts to launch their new variant Honda Brio in hatchback segment of cars in Indian car market. There are rumours that Honda India is putting all its endeavours to launch the new Honda Brio on September 27, 2011 in the Indian car market. Honda speculates that as the end of September will mark the beginning of the festive season in Indian continent it would be the right time to launch Honda Brio in India. However Honda has not yet revealed any information regarding Honda Brio Price in Indian car market but there are anticipations that going through the festive season Honda may offer an affordable price tag for the modified version of Honda Brio, which will be introduced only in petrol variant.

The new Honda Brio carries the wide array of various refreshed specifications. The major Honda Brio specifications include 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol engine similar to one equipped in Honda Jazz, but the engine of Honda Brio suffers from the minor drawback as far as the power generation in concerned. The engine installed in Honda Brio generates the power of 88 bhp @ 6,000 rpm and torque of 109 Nm @ 4600 rpm, whereas the same engine generates the power of 90 bhp @6,200 rpm and 110 Nm of torque@ 4,800 rpm. Although the new Honda Brio weighs 100 kg lesser than Honda Jazz and Honda has claimed that it will be the fuel efficient car with an average of 18.4 kmpl.

The other Honda Brio specifications include the spacious interiors due to its longer and bigger size as compared to Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat, Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20 and Ford Figo. Besides this the modified version of Honda Brio is expected to be embedded with various unbeatable features designed with strong impact resistant glasses. Honda Brio specifications also include the integration of latest safety measures including airbags, ABS with EDS technology. The new Honda Brio will come in three options Honda Brio E, Honda Brio S and Honda Brio V.
