Maruti expects to sell 18k units of new Swift every month

Earlier, this week Maruti India had launched its most anticipated car new Maruti Swift in the Indian car market. It is the most anticipated hatchback of Maruti India and received a major hype and response from the Indian car buyers. This new hatchback set all new records and benchmarks in the hatchback segment. Commenting on the success of new Maruti Swift the marketing managing executive officer, Mr Mayank Pareek said that in the coming festive season the new Maruti Swift sales is expected to wax up. On the contrary the high interest rates and fuel prices are crimps to the sales of the car in India.

It is worth to mention that as per Maruti India since after the launch in 2005 company has sold over 60,000 units of Maruti Swift in India. Furthermore, he added that Maruti India is showering with bookings as the pre launch bookings has reached the benchmark of 50,000 units which has increased the waiting period by five to six months. However, based on this high demand company tries to rev up the production. Talking about the new Maruti Swift price, this new refreshed version is available at the starting price of Rs 4.22 lakh for its base model where as the top end model of new swift price is tagged at Rs 6.38 lakh.

The new modified variant has undergone many modifications that include a brand new interiors, lamps, bumpers and engine. In addition to this the engine used so far is packed with 5 Speed Manual Transmission Gearbox which is very fuel efficient and economical. The new Maruti Swift is offering an improved fuel efficiency of 18.9 Kmpl with petrol engine and 22.9 Kmpl with its diesel variant. Hyundai i20 and Volkswagen Polo are the major rivals which make the new Maruti Swift to chew the iron nuts.
