Tata Nano Diesel to deliver 40 KMPL?

Tata NanoSome official sources reveals about the official launch which would be done near around September 2011 and will give a unbreakable opposition to Bajaj-Nissan Renault’s, another baby car expected to be discharged in 2012.

Shall we consider this as a good news or a bad one?

On one side we see activities that take us closer to nature. banning plastics / going green / printing less,….. done majorly by NGOs (& some hollow CSR departments of corporates) and on the other side we find new ways to kill our environment.

When i read this news in the newspaper today, i was hurt badly. Not only because it will have a substantial contribution in ruining the environment but also because youngsters will consider it as another achievement of (Ratan) TATA and thereby ignoring environment yet again. :)

I wonder the statement on environment consciousness and Nano. We have SUVs which burn more than a liter of fuel every KM. Most of our mid segment sedans give not more than 10-15Kms a liter. These vehicles should be penalized heavily for environment degradation and Nano should be given carbon credit. Why concern on providing 4wheeled comfort to middle and lower middle class people?

Why this neha is so much concerned about the nature....Is she paid for that.Oh paid by us govt..OK...Please so your concern about the perthenium they send with the wheat grain..They are poisoning the nature 25 times more than us....
