The new Android 2.1 OS based Motorola smartphone “Flipout” will soon be out in India, most probably by first week of November. The device will also incorporate Motorola's Motoblur for handling User Interface work.Motorola Flipout is a flip phone as suggested by its name and thus boasts of a slide (also called as a flip). This function reveals the full five row QWERTY keypad when used. There are a set of cool features in this unusual smartphone which was revealed sometime back in Singapore. It will soon be launched in other Asian countries including India. November first week is the festive time here and it will be co-incide with launch of Motorola Flipout and many more mobile handsets. In fact, pre-orders are already being taken for the phone. The Motorola's Flipout has a 2.8 inch wide display with 320X420 pixels resolution and the handset runs at a super speed with its 700 MHz processor which has multi-touch screen with pinch-to-zoom feature. The homescreen of Motorola Flipout features customizable widget support and this is for all the social networking sites viz. Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Motorola FLIPOUT is also a 3G phone supported on HSDPA 900 / 2100 network. There is 3.1 megapixel camera and allow its users to upload clicked pictures and made videos instantly on Facebook, MySpace, Picasa and Photobucket.The internal memory of 512MB ROM / 256MB RAM is also incorporated in the phone.The internal memory can be expanded to 32GB via a microSD card. It gives access to Google services viz. Google Search, Gmail, Google Maps etc. plus access to many apps on Android Market. Phone supports A-GPS (assisted) and e-compass for easy navigation purpose. There is a 3.5mm headset jack, FM Radio, AAC, AAC , AAC Enhanced, AMR NB, MP3 and WMA v9 file format support. For connectivity, there is USB 2.0 HS and Wi-Fi, For messaging, there is MMS, SMS, Email (Corporate Sync, POP3, IMAP, Push Email) and Instant Messaging. With physical dimensions of 67.00 x 67.00 x 17.00 mm and weight just 120 grams, Motorola FLIPOUT will be available in White, Fairway Green, Poppy Red, Raspberry Crush, Brilliant Blue, Licorice and Saffron colors. Priced at Rs.15,299, phone best price may differ slightly. Motorola Charm may also launch with Flipout, but nothing is certain.
Bajaj Auto Ltd, India's biggest two-wheeler manufacturer, is mulling over to launch two new motorcycles, which will be called as Duke 125 and new version of its flagship model, Pulsar in the Indian auto market by 2011. The new Duke 125 sports bike assembled by Austrian bike maker, KTM Power Sports AG with Indian arms, Bajaj Auto. Bajaj Auto gets a 14.5 percent stake in KTM in 2007 to access latest engine technology and increase distribution network in Europe. According to some news reports, the new Duke 125 is believed to be launched fist in Europe in March next year. S. Ravikumar, vice-president for business development of Bajaj Auto said, "There are plans to launch Duke 125, which was showcased at Cologne (Germany) this year. The bike will be first launched in Europe and then it will be brought to India." Both two-wheelers giant agreed for the producing two- engine including 125cc and 250cc utilising with water-colling technology, which enabled to generate more power for the same capacity than the air and oil-cooled technology. Water cooling is a better conductor for warm countries. Ravikumar also said that the company is also planning on a new avatar of Pulsar next year. "This will happen some time next year... in the first quarter of the next fiscal," said Amit Nandi, vice-president, pro-biking segment, Bajaj Auto. Recently, Bajaj Auto introduces new Orange Theme of Bajaj Pulsar 180 in the Indian auto market. "Most of the players are in this segment. It is highly competitive. A lot will depend on the pricing strategy of the company," said Jatin Chawla, an analyst at India Infoline Ltd. "However, this will help the company in strengthening its brand in the country. Apart from that launch, Indian bike lovers will see more new bikes in Indian by Bajaj Auto including Bajaj Sonic, Bajaj Blade (scooter), New Bajaj Boxer and more.

Honda motorcycle and scooter India Limited, one of the biggest two-wheeler market leader, is mulling over to launch an smallest version of the company most popular super motorcycle brand, Honda CBR. The new version will be known as Honda CBR 150R. According to some news reports, the new CBR 150R is expected to be launched by this festival season along with their elder sibling, Honda CBR 250R in the Indiana auto market. Honda Motorcycle and scooter India is mulling over to launch the new bike in India, which will be younger brother of the company most popular super sports motorcycle, Honda CBR 1000RR. The new bike will be known as Honda CBR 250R in the Indian auto market, which might be launched by this festival season. However, the company has not yet confirmed the launch of new CBR 250R in the country. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 1.5 lacs. The whole bike seems awesome and it is speculated that the design of this bike is inspired from Honda VRF 1200F. The Honda CBR 250R would be powered with a Liquid cooled, 4-stroke, Dual Overhead Camshaft 90° V-twin cylinder gasoline machine that can be produces maximum output of 45 PS power at 14,500 rpm while delivers peak torque of 2.5 kg-m at 10,500 rpm with its 250cc displacement. Some of the other features which is the same Honda's PGM-FI technology with 296 mm single Hydraulic disc at the front and 220 mm disc along with momo shock hydraulic suspension at the rear. The new bike comes with alloy wheelers and electric start option. It is also comes with 5 speed manual gears with Multi wet plate clutch. The new Honda CBR 250R has got a good capabilities to offer better fuel efficiency of around 40 kmpl. The fuel tank capacity of this bike is around 18litres and 3.5litres in reserve. The based model of Honda CBR series offering extremely well performance across the various auto markets and getting wonderful response. The new version of CBR series will help to increase popularity in the country. The new bike also features digital speedometer which is matched with the massive motorcycle, VFR 1200F. The exact detail of the colors of the new Honda CBR 250R is not available.
