Yamaha's another super machine has stepped in India quite silently. The new and third international superbike of Yamaha, Yamaha VMAX, on Wednesday in New Delhi. The bike has an whooping price tag Rs 20 lakh. There is no competetor against it. Only Suzuki sells Suzuki Intruder and Suzuki Hyabusa which are superbikes. But the VMAX is the only bike with a price tag of Rs 20 lakh. This big beast is powered by a awesome 1679cc V4 power mill. This gigantic power train churns a maximum power of 200 horses and a maximum torque of 166.8Nm. Now you can imagine the power, speed and acceleration of the flying machine when it hit the Indian. This dream bike will be available only at selected showroom in the country as Yamaha YZF R1 and MT-01. Yamaha YZF R1 and MT-01 are the exisiting international bikes in India. In addition to this new bike, the company also rolled out special limited editions of FZ series bikes that include Yamaha FZ16,Yamaha FZS and Yamaha Fazer. The new edition of these bikes will be available in only 3000 units. At the launch Yuki Mine Tsuji, Managing Director and CEO, India Yamaha, said that the company is aiming to grab 10 per cent market share in the industry by 2012. Yamaha is also targeting for 30 per cent market share. This awesome powemill produces a maximum power of 200 horses and a maximum torque of 166.8Nm. Indian of Yamaha Motor had posted a sale of 19,508 units during August, a growth of 63 per cent over 11,974 units during August 2008.
